We have just purchased a lifetime licence to this neat authoring tool.

It’s called Saola Animator, a desktop software application that has a lifetime subscription option ( as opposed to the annual subscription of $US39) so the $ US99 dollar one-off purchase  is a worthwhile investment.

What I really like about this tool is it’s no-nonsense ease of use.It also comes with a built in Code Editor so you have the power of JavaScript at your fingertips to create more sophisticated animations.

Although it has a comprehensive help tutorial I would have liked to see  more online tutorial videos. The videos available cover the basics and are well suited to get you up and running. The audio is a bit difficult to understand, which is a pity.
